Title: Project Engineer

Responsibilities
Use knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) to perform engineering duties in planning
and designing of building structures. Use knowledge of elastic fracture mechanics and mixed mode
loading to design to prevent fracture, corrosion, and fatigue in engineering materials. Use knowledge
of flexural behavior, beam-column joints, and two-way slab systems to design concrete structures. Use
knowledge of vibrations and dynamic analysis, design of steel elements and loadbearing frameworks
to design steel structural elements. Use knowledge of reinforced and prestressed concrete to evaluate
gravitational loads, distribute loads, and design reinforced concrete elements. Travel to various
unanticipated client’s worksites. May work remotely from home.

Requirements
* Master’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, or related field;
* Knowledge of BIM;
* Knowledge of elastic fracture mechanics and mixed mode loading;
* Knowledge of flexural behavior, beam-column joints, and two-way slab systems;
* Knowledge of vibrations and dynamic analysis, design of steel elements and
loadbearing frameworks;
* Knowledge of reinforced and prestressed concrete;
* Travel to various unanticipated client’s worksites; and
* May work remotely from home.
